How to dry shrimp?

Shrimp is a well-known seafood product, which is rich in many trace elements such as calcium and phosphorus. Shrimp is used in many dishes in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. Baixin shrimp dryer can be divided into multiple drying stages, drying the shrimps at low and medium temperatures to make the shrimps dry better. Dried shrimp will not change any of its nutritional value. The aroma of the shrimp is preserved and the taste is better. The shrimp dryer is also suitable for other seafood products, such as fish, squid, abalone, etc.
Wash the shrimp two or three times to ensure that the shrimp is clean, and dry directly or cook the shrimp as needed.
Remove the shrimp heads as needed.
Put the shrimp on the tray, and then put the tray full of shrimp into the shrimp dryer.
Set the temperature to 50°C~70°C and the humidity to 10%. After drying for 5 hours, the moisture content of the shrimp will drop below 18%. you can open the door of the dryer to check if the dried shrimp can be dried reach your demand.
The dried shrimp will regain moisture when they are in direct contact with the air, so a sealed package is required. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and aroma of shrimp.
