How to dry hawthorn?

Hawthorn can be eaten raw or dried fruit. Hawthorn can increase pepsin activity and promote protein digestion. Hawthorn is a kind of fruit with great medicinal value. The hawthorn dryer can be divided into multiple stages, dry fresh hawthorn at low and medium temperature, so that the hawthorn drying effect is better. Hawthorn will not change any of its nutritional value. The scent of hawthorn is preserved and the taste is better.

Wash the hawthorn first. It is recommended to use a hawthorn washing machine.

Hawthorn slices, the thickness is about 2 cm, it is best to use a slicer to complete, which can effectively ensure that the thickness of the hawthorn slices is uniform, and the heat can be evenly heated during the drying process.

Color protection treatment, generally use 0.5% isovitamin C solution to soak for 10-15 minutes to prevent discoloration of the fruit slices and drain the water as soon as possible.

Put the hawthorn slices into the tray, and pay attention to the flat thickness not to be too thick. If a mesh belt dryer is used, automatic feeding can be realized.

Drying: The drying temperature is controlled at 60℃-65℃, and the drying time is about 12-15 hours. If you use a hawthorn mesh belt dryer, the drying time will be shortened. The packaging needs to wait for the hawthorn slices to cool to room temperature before proceeding.
