How to dry garlic?

Garlic has a wide range of uses, it can be eaten or used as a condiment or medicine. Fresh garlic cannot be stored for a long time, but if the garlic is stored dry, the storage time can be greatly extended. The Baixin garlic dryer can be divided into multiple stages to dry fresh garlic at medium and low temperatures so that the garlic can be dried better. Dried garlic will not change any of its nutritional value. The scent of garlic is preserved and the taste is better.

Divide garlic into cloves and peel them. It is recommended to use a professional garlic clove splitting and peeling machine.

Cut the garlic into small pieces and wash them. The garlic washing machine can meet the requirement of large output.

Cut the garlic slices into 2-3mm thick slices. It is recommended to use a professional garlic slicer. The slicing speed is fast and the slicing is even.

Set the drying machine to the following parameters to dry garlic slices: drying temperature: 60°C; drying relative humidity: 5%

Put the garlic slices into the dryer. It takes about 4-6 hours to dry the garlic slices.If you use a garlic mesh belt dryer, the drying time is 0.5h-2h.

This medium-temperature drying will well maintain the aroma, color, and shape of dried garlic slices. Different garlic thickness will have different dehydration times. The thinner the garlic, the shorter the dehydration time. Dried garlic flakes will regain moisture when in direct contact with air, so they need to be sealed and packaged. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and fragrance of the garlic slices.
