How to dry cantaloupe?

Cantaloupe is a very good melon, rich in nutrients, with a sugar content of up to 21%. The variety of resources of cantaloupe are very rich. There are round or oval shapes. Sweet and fruity. Baixin cantaloupe dryer can be divided into multiple drying stages, drying fresh cantaloupe at medium and low temperature, so that the drying effect of cantaloupe is better. Dried cantaloupe will not change any of its nutritional value. The aroma of cantaloupe is preserved, and the taste is better.

To clean and peel the cantaloupe, it is recommended to use a professional cantaloupe cleaning and peeling machine.

Cut the cantaloupe into 5 mm thick slices, put them on the tray, and put them in the dryer.

The best drying effect of cantaloupe is divided into 5 stages: The first stage: the temperature of the dryer is set to 45°C, and the drying time is 1 hour. The second stage: The temperature of the dryer is set to 47°C, and the drying time is 1 hour. The third stage: the temperature of the dryer is set to 53°C, and the drying time is 1 hour. The fourth stage: The temperature of the dryer is set to 57°C, and the drying time is 1 hour. The fifth stage: The temperature of the dryer is set to 63°C, the drying time is 0.5 hours, and the cantaloupe will be dried.

The dehydration time of cantaloupe of different thickness is different, the thinner, the shorter the dehydration time. Dried cantaloupe slices will regain moisture when in direct contact with air, so they need to be sealed and packaged. If vacuum packaging is used, the color and aroma of cantaloupe slices can be better maintained.
